With a low annual cost - which includes upgrades to future versions - you have access to our software for countless cases. The modular structure of the software with the planning components and the Guide Creator module ensure that you only pay for what you really need. Thanks to the open and vendor-neutral architecture, you can use exocad with your existing equipment, such as 3D printers and scanners, and milling machines.
| Important information: All of our medical device software (including ChairsideCAD and exoplan) is offered exclusively through a subscription licensing model. The reason is that medical device software must always be maintained so that, in the unlikely event of a product security issue, it can be updated. It has always been our policy to provide free maintenance for one year after the initial purchase of our software, and to offer software upgrades only for up-to-date licenses under maintenance. Although we offer perpetual licenses for non-medical products (such as exocad DentalCAD, intended for dental laboratories) – which can be used indefinitely even without maintenance – this is not the case for our medical device software. The latter will not work if the subscription is not renewed. Perpetual licenses (which can be used indefinitely) are not available for our medical device software. In accordance with European directive 93/42/CEE, Annex I, section 4, applicable to this type of product, all medical devices must have a defined useful life. |
